If so, what should they do? It will be good to have a brief summary that we can publish before Pesach. <strong>A:<\/strong> <strong>Noahides can celebrate Pesach as a holiday of freedom for all humanity that was revealed by the redemption of Israel from Egypt. They can perform a Pesach Seder with all of the rituals except: (1) There should be no Afikoman (the final piece of matza eaten in memory of the Pesach sacrifice). (2) No blessings should be recited which include the phrase, &#171;He who sanctified us with His mitzvot and commanded us&#8230;&#187; (3) The phrase &#171;our fathers&#187; should be replaced by &#171;the fathers of Israel&#187; or &#171;the nation of Israel&#187;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Q: <\/strong>With respect to the above: What should a Noahide do about the blessings that include the phrase &#171;He who sanctified us&#187;? Should he skip them or recite a modified version? <strong>A: Skip them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Q: <\/strong>What prayers are recommended for a Noahide, or at least what should be the first ones that they begin to recite? <strong>A: The first blessing of the Grace after Meals; Modeh Ani (&#171;I thank You&#8230;&#187;) \u2013 recited as soon as one wakes up in the morning; Psalms; Shema Yisrael (&#171;Hear, O Israel&#187;); A parallel form of the Amidah prayer which includes praise, requests, and thanks.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Q: <\/strong>About Shema Yisrael &#8212; Should the blessings be recited or not? Should all three paragraphs of the Shema be recited, including the last one, about Tzitzit? <strong>A: Everything can be said except in the third blessing, the mention of &#171;our fathers&#187; and the phrase &#171;You redeemed us from Egypt.&#187;<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Q: <\/strong>Must the prayer be completely parallel to the Amidah? Can the text be freely chosen? <strong>A: It is not required to be the same as the Amidah, but it may be similar.
