Fully Halachic Sabbath Keeping

Will a Noahide who observes a fully halachic Shabbat be punished by HaShem? I have personally been exposed to such an opinion which is based on b. Sanhedrin 58b; “ a heathen who keeps a day of rest deserves death”. I would appreciate your insight on this and how Sanhedrin 58b relates to Noahide Sabbath keeping.

Along the same lines I would also appreciate your insights on Maimonides, Misneh Torah, Laws of Kings and their Wars, Chapter 10, Halacha 9. How is the Rambam to be understood here in relation to gentiles keeping the Sabbath?

An official procedure to be the Ben Noah

What do you mean when you write that “it is necessary an official acceptation of Seven Commandments of Bnei Noah”? If a person make a decision to follow Seven Commandments by himself, will he be considered as a Ben Noah before God? Or it is necessary a formal procedure – like it is obligatory for a conversion to the Judaism?

Answer:

To be Ben Noah it is necessary an authority group of three Rabbis who consist the religious court – so called Beth Din. They can make such a decision if a appropriate request is received. In International Centre Bnei Noah (Brit Olam) we have a group of Rabbis who well-known such a procedure.
